Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will I need to rejet my bike if I fit your silencers.
A:Not normally - all Wolf slip ons are designed to work with standard jetting whilst still giving a worthwhile power increase.

Q: Will I need anything other than what you supply to fit the pipe to my bike?
A: No - all the connectors, straps, fittings and even new nuts and bolts are supplied with our exhausts so that you have everything needed to fit them.

Q: How loud are they?
A: Our race cans are rated at 98 dB which is well below the track noise limit of 105 dB. They are engineered to give a deep sound whilst remaining within reasonable limits. No one should find a Wolf can too loud!
Road legal silencers are available on some models. The term road legal means that the silencer meets the EU levels for noise which is currently 80 dB on bikes from 2000 onwards and 82 dB on earlier machines.

Q: How much do Wolf exhausts weigh?
A: Most Wolf silencers weigh under 2 Kg which means you will save around 4Kg off the weight of your original canister. Our full systems weigh about 4 Kg in total which can mean weight savings of up to 12Kg!

Q: Are Wolf silencers easy to fit?
A: Yes, very simple! Everything you need is in the box and we have built all our silencers and systems to be as simple as possible to fit.

Q: What happens if it goes wrong?
A: As you will see in our previous pages Wolf offer an unconditional lifetime guarantee on all products. If things should ever go wrong we can repair or replace your exhaust free of charge.

Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A: We aim to process orders within 24 hours and if goods are in stock they will be shipped within 48 hours. If goods are not in stock we may need up to 2 weeks to build your system. Delivery within Europe takes 2 - 3 days, and for the rest of the world up to 7 days. If your goods are out of stock, we will e-mail you immediately with a delivery schedule. Please note that customs clearance is beyond our control and may delay overseas goods.

See the terms and conditions page here for full details of shipping and returns policy.

Q: How much power will a Wolf give me?
A: This is difficult as every bike is different and even two identical models can vary by as much as 10 bhp. However, every Wolf will give a power increase and in some cases this can be as much as a 20 bhp gain from our slip ons.
